The Role:

We are looking for a motivated, detail-focused Accounts Administrator to join our close-knit Finance team based in Frankton, Hamilton. Working alongside another Accounts Administrator, this role, reporting to the Financial Controller, is responsible for supporting the smooth and accurate processing of accounts payable and providing general administrative support to the wider finance team. Key Responsibilities:

This role plays an important part in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, and responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.
  • Reconciling accounts, payment runs, and bank transactions.
  • Maintaining supplier records and responding to account queries.
  • Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements.
  • Assisting with credit control and general finance administration.
  • Providing professional support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offering backup reception and office support when required.

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in accounts payable and administration, along with strong computer skills, particularly in Excel. They will have a high level of attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate work. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines are essential.

The ideal candidate will also have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer service focus. They will be reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
